Tanya Acosta, Owner
I created my business to provide individuals and small business owners with knowledgeable, personalized service. My desire is for my clients to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their financial decisions.
Before starting Acosta Accounting Solutions, I spent 27 years with the Internal Revenue Service, including 13 years as a Revenue Agent. Today, I use the knowledge and experience gained throughout my career to help my clients with their taxes and finances.
I’m also working toward earning my Enrolled Agent credential, which is anticipated by the end of 2026. This will allow me to continue expanding the tax services and support I provide.
My Approach
Taxes and bookkeeping can be overwhelming. Sometimes, it’s hard to know what to do or where to start.
Don’t worry I am here to help.
I’ll take the time to listen, understand your situation, and explain information in a way that makes sense. Whether I’m preparing your tax return, getting your books back on track, or helping you understand your business finances, I want you to know where you stand.
After nearly three decades with the IRS, I now enjoy putting that experience to work helping individuals and small business owners navigate their own tax and financial needs.
A Little About Me
I live in Irondequoit and am a proud mom of three sons, including my oldest who serves in the U.S. Navy.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and, of course, Bruce, my Doberman. I also enjoy hiking and traveling, experiencing new cultures, and learning about the history of the places I visit.
Being connected to my community is important to me. I’m a member of the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce and value the opportunity to get to know and support other local business owners.
Acosta Accounting Solutions provides me the opportunity to do what I enjoy: build relationships, help people solve problems, in addition to supporting individuals and small businesses in my community.

Supporting individuals & growing businesses.
